Curatorial Projects
t.b.d., "On the Survival of Butterflies at a Time of Omnivorous Consumption". Curated by Alois Collective (Alois is Elisa Tosoni (Stockholm), Guia Cortassa (Milan) and Barbara Meneghel (Milan/ New York)
(upcoming) September 2011 – September 2012, “Recasting paradigms of temporality in curatorial practice”, a one-year-long experiment not only testing some different models and strategies of display (exhibition, symposium, panel discussion, studio visit, website, et cetera), but also aiming at discussing and challenging the rhythm and the boundaries of duration set by the art system. A project that will infiltrate different spaces – from institutions to private galleries, from artists’ studios to the net, to non-art spaces - and manifest itself in Sweden as well as abroad, although sometimes apparently remaining idle. The first chapter of the project will be the solo exhibition “Eva Frapiccini”, at Galleria Peola, Turin, Italy (upcoming) September – December 2011.
